By Sophia Spanton

Shari Liu welcomed Sam Artmann, João Kossman, and Manoel Charves from MCP Yachts to Superyachts.com’s interview studio at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. They discussed the brand's recent achievements, current projects and future plans for the company.

Joining Shari Liu at the MYS 2024, the MCP Yachts team expressed their pride in reaching such a level of proficiency, quality, and excellence in naval engineering and design.

Samuel Artmann commented: ‘We believe MCP is at the level of European shipyards; we can compete in the market, and that’s why we are here’.

MCP Yachts was recently nominated for an award for its 38-metre custom yacht, reflecting an ongoing collaboration with Vripack, whom they have partnered for over ten years. Together, they have successfully designed three boats, showcasing their commitment to innovation and quality craftsmanship.

When asked about what sets MCP Yachts apart from more established European builders, the team highlighted their unique features and innovations tailored to meet the needs of potential European clients. They emphasised their commitment to customisation and flexibility in accommodating client requests.

Looking to the future, they shared exciting news about ongoing projects. MCP Yachts is currently in advanced negotiations for a 46-metre yacht with a repeat client, which is expected to have a three-year construction timeline. Additionally, they have recently completed the development of a project designed for the charter market, focusing on a vessel in the 42-44 metre range with six cabins.
