NIGHT FURY II Embarks on Maiden Voyage

By Frances Flannagan

Columbus Yachts has announced that, following her official delivery, Columbus Atlantique 43 M/Y NIGHT FURY II has set sail. She is set apart by her distinctive ‘sailing-type’ stern, which boasts an impressive swimming pool surrounded by a C-shape seat, allowing guests to indulge in a spectacular relaxation experience.

NIGHT FURY II is a 43m motor yacht with a volume of 462 GT, featuring interior and exterior design by Hot Lab studio. Palumbo Superyachts devised her naval engineering in collaboration with Hydro Tec, with all aspects of her build meticulously designed to depict the ‘Architecture for Voyagers’ fundamentals, enhancing her Owner and guests’ time at sea.

The most distinguishing factor of Atlantique 43m is the ‘sailing-type’ stern, featuring an impressive central swimming pool surrounded by a C-shape seat. Those onboard can enjoy feeling completely immersed in the water, thanks to a transom that sits very low on the sea and two lateral folding side wings.

The lower deck is home to four double cabins, configured as two VIPs with private bathrooms and two twins. The forward area of the lower deck is dedicated to NIGHT FURY II’s crew, whilst the captain’s cabin is positioned next to the wheelhouse.

NIGHT FURY II comes with a 5.5m tender that is located at the stern, a second tender and two jet skis, both of which are housed on the main deck forward.

The Columbus Atlantique 43 can reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, powered by two 970kW Cat C32 Acert engines, with a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.

NIGHT FURY II is the first of three constructions of the model and will be proudly exhibited at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024.

"The 'sailing-type' stern of Atlantique 43m is perhaps its most distinctive area. The very impressive central swimming pool is surrounded by a C-shape seat facing astern."
