Ocean Independence Completes Eight Sales in Just Over One Month

By Frances Flannagan

Ocean Independence has proudly announced that it has sold eight yachts across three continents in little over a month. From a 46m vessel that boasts a plethora of luxurious amenities including an outdoor bar and jacuzzi, to a 25m yacht that is recognised as one of the fastest boats currently on the water, the outstanding expertise and versatility of the brokerage can be seen.

The weeks following Easter were exceptionally busy for Ocean Independence who, against recent market trends, saw the remarkable achievement of eight sales. This accomplishment highlights the brokerage’s expansive global reach and ability to outperform the market: a testament to its expertise and the trust it has gained worldwide.

BOUCHON, PIPE DREAM, BLU, ADYTUM, LADY MARISA, PRINCESS M, IMPETOUS and HUMBLE & HUNGRY were the eight yachts sold over this very short time-frame. Ranging from 25 to 46 metres, these yachts all offer something unique to their new Owners, highlighting the brokerage’s versatility and ability to cater to a wide range of client preferences.

BOUCHON was launched in 2002 by Trinity Yachts and still boasts impressive features to this day. She has been rigorously updated and maintained throughout the years, undergoing a full exterior repaint in 2021 that has emphasised her elegant lines and robust construction. With a top speed of 20 knots and a range of 3,500nm, she boasts both exceptional luxury and performance capabilities.

PRINCESS M is a 30m yacht that has only ever had one Owner, presented to the market in impeccable condition. She is a fine example of a flagship model for Princess yachts, characterised by her ingenious design from Bernard Olesinski that has led to the M Class becoming a series renowned for its exceptional interior volumes, efficient cruising and weight-saving advantages.

The smallest vessel sold was HUMBLE & HUNGRY, a 25m yacht that combines high performance with luxurious living. She is able to reach a speed of 52 knots, making her one of the fastest yachts on the water today. Her impressive performance capabilities do not compromise the luxury and comfort onboard, as she features a well thought-out interior and accommodation for up to seven guests across three cabins. Her amenities are both modern and functional, with the lower deck being home to a media room and an open-plan saloon.

Ocean Independence has the ability to navigate diverse markets and client requests, spanning the entirety of the globe: from emerging markets in Asia to well established yachting hotspots like the Mediterranean. It is able to deliver yachts with the utmost excellence no matter what the clients’ desires may be, with each vessel sold offering a unique blend of style, comfort and performance.

Following a slower start to 2024, the sales market is seeing an increasing demand and fluidity according to data from Ocean Independence and reflected in this sensational sales-streak. For prospective buyers and sellers, this warming market makes it the ideal time to step forward for those considering a purchase or a sale.
