By Zoe Coughlan

Italian yacht building group Palumbo Superyachts has announced that it has successfully delivered four luxury yachts over the course of this summer, all of which will be in attendance at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show in September. Combining famous Italian craftsmanship with the brand's extraordinary style and design, these deliveries include a 50-metre Columbus Custom Hybrid, two 43-metre Columbus Atlantiques and one Extra X96 Triplex. These yachts not only highlight Palumbo’s commitment to excellence, but also reinforce their exceptional reputation in the Italian maritime sector.

The first yacht to hit the water this summer was the 50m Columbus Custom Hybrid yacht ANJELIF. Designed to accommodate 10 guests, ANJELIF is packed with luxurious features ensuring entertainment for everyone with a helipad, sauna and open-air cinema. As the fourth largest yacht built by Columbus Yachts, and with top speeds of 20 knots, she is not one to miss at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.

FRETTE, a 43 metre Columbus motor yacht which can reach top speeds of 15.5 knots, was also launched in the recent summer months and exudes Italian style and sophistication. Accommodating 10 guests who can relax by her impressive 5 metre pool, FRETTE provides her guests with the opportunity to travel in absolute luxury. CEO of Palumbo Superyachts, Guiseppe Palumbo remarked, ‘FRETTE joins the Columbus fleet as an emblem of modernity, elegance, attention to detail and tailor-made customisations to meet the Owner’s desires’. As the seventh largest yacht built by Columbus Yachts, FRETTE will be in attendance at the 2024 editions of the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show, and is one to look out for as the ultimate example of high-end design and engineering.

Delivered in June, NIGHT FURY II measures an impressive 43.59 metres, becoming the sixth largest yacht built by Columbus Yachts. With capacity for up to 10 guests, her robust steel hull and aluminium superstructure is testament to the extraordinary engineering required for a yacht of her calibre. She is a striking vessel both inside and out, notably exhibiting a panoramic swimming pool that sits 0.5 metres above the sea level to ensure an unparalleled yachting experience close to the water, for her guests. She boasts her own beauty salon and a sumptuous full beam master cabin inclusive of an en-suite to ensure her guests travel in ultimate comfort.

SUPER MARIO is the final yacht delivered by Palumbo this summer, with a length of 28.5 metre and top speeds of 17.5 knots, she is an impressive vessel to hit the sea. Moreover, she has a fully customised interior, tailored exclusively to her owner’s desires, boasting light and airy spaces, executed beautifully by her interior designers Hot Lab and exterior designers Franceso Guida through her floor to ceiling windows which feature throughout. With capacity 12 guests onboard, SUPER MARIO ensures a voyage to remember.

With an anticipated 12 further superyachts ranging from 37 to 80 metres due to be delivered by 2027, Palumbo is certainly the shipyard to watch for future groundbreaking projects and the latest innovations to hit the sea.
