PBIBS '23: Ferretti's Stefano de Vivo on the New wally58x
On the first day of the Palm Beach International Boat Show, Superyachts.com Presenter Shari Liu was joined in the Interview Studio by Stefano de Vivo, Ferretti Group's Chief Commercial Officer.
Ferretti Group is a world leader in the design, construction and sale of luxury yachts and pleasure vessels. Heir to Italy's centuries-old yachting tradition, it vaunts a unique portfolio of prestigious, exclusive brands, from Ferretti Yachts, Pershing and Riva to Itama, Custom Line, Wally and CRN.
“Ferretti being at Palm Beach International Boat Show is a very important moment throughout the year. We have a very strong lineup of boats. We have 6 boats here, one of which is the wally58x, which is every close to my heart. It’s a super fun boat and we expect to have sea trials soon so you can see her performance. It’s 20 years ahead, just like wally and all of the yachts that we make. Myself and the Ferretti team always try to put something new inside each vessel." explains Stefano.
Stefano went on to discuss some of the latest launches across the Ferretti brand, including Project 139.
“CRN recently launched a new 72-metre, Project 139, a highly interesting, voluminous boat that’s very rich in details and interiors. It’s the most expensive yacht per GT because of her richness and the number of materials installed from all over Europe and indeed the world."
This vessel comes in at 72-metres in length, with a 12.4-metre beam and gross tonnage of 1,880 GT. M/Y 139 has been designed and built by the in-house team at CRN in collaboration with Vallicelli Design, who penned the concept and exterior lines. Nuvolari Lenard lent their expertise to the interior design.
