PBIBS '23: The Official Round-up

By Heather Collier

The Palm Beach International Boat Show 2023 has once again proven to be a major success, with thousands of attendees, exhibitors and industry figures flocking back to Flagler Drive.

From the 21st to the 24th of March, Palm Beach Marina was descended on by some of the most luxurious names in yachting; showcasing a variety of vessels from all over the world.

Since 1982, the boat show has grown to occupy a dominant position in South Florida as both a leader in the boating and marine industry, and as an economic engine to the Palm Beach community and the tri-county area.

As part of its 40th anniversary last year, Informa Markets reiterated its commitment to preserving South Florida’s endangered marine life with a $300,000 contribution to the Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida (FWC).

This year, representatives and key industry figures from some of the most iconic shipyards were in attendance, from the likes of Benetti, Feadship and Lürssen, all of whom we had the opportunity to speak with in our brand new Interview Studio.

The Superyachts.com Interview Studio acted as the ultimate podium for leading announcements and innovative discussion; situated in the heart of the stunning ALBA Palm Beach Showroom; a mere stone's throw away from all of the action at the marina.

ALBA Palm Beach, an all-new, waterfront residential community situated along the Intracoastal is redefining the meaning of luxury, establishing itself as one of South Florida's most enticing, best-kept secrets.

Luxury VIP events hosted by ALBA Palm Beach were held throughout the course of the show, with exclusive invitations on offer at the prestigious Palm Beach Yacht Club for the height of superyacht society.

Arrow, Calex, Come Together, Coral Ocean, and the all-new Wally58x were among many of the highlights at the show, as well as the announcement of exciting new launches and expansions in the near future.

Australian Superyacht brokerage Ahoy Club commented: "The Palm Beach Boat International Boat Show has come to an end and what a successful show it has been. More than 200 visitors enjoyed discovering our iconic charter yacht 73m CORAL OCEAN."

The show expressed their gratitude to all involved this year, thanking those who made it possible: "To our attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, seminar speakers, hotel partners, content creators & staff, thank you. We cannot wait until next year, mark your calendars: March 21st - 24th, 2024."

Stay tuned for all of the latest news and updates on the 42nd installment, and the remaining shows on this year's yachting calendar.

See you next year PBIBS!
