PLEIADES II Returns to Australian Charter Market
Yachtsmen International has announced its appointment as Central Charter Agent for the 33-metre Kingship-built superyacht, PLEIADES II. The superyacht returns to the Australian charter market, where she will be based in the exquisite Whitsunday Islands to offer indulgent escapes on the Great Barrier Reef from June 2023.
Built by Hong-Kong based Kingship in 2006, PLEIADES II (ex PRINCESS V) has long provided a sublime platform for luxurious charter experiences. Boasting a warm and welcoming interior design penned by renowned American designer Luiz de Basto, PLEIADES II is ideal for entertaining family and friends in sumptuous style.
Yachtsmen International, headquartered at the Boat Works facility on Australia’s Gold Coast, is representing PLEIADES II as Central Charter Agent both domestically and worldwide. Drawing on extensive knowledge and understanding of the yachting experience, Yachtsmen takes pride in helping its clients to maximise their time on the water.
"Yachtsmen International is thrilled to be appointed Worldwide Central Agent for PLEIADES II," shared Yachtsmen's Deborah Rendle. "We believe that she will be a superb addition to the Australian charter market, and we are excited to welcome both Australian and international guests onboard in the world-famous Whitsundays.
"The experiences will be tailor-made, with an extraordinary attention to detail from the personalised itineraries to the superior level of service."
Sleeping up to 12 guests, the superyacht’s flexible layout ensures she can be comfortably tailored to accommodate different group dynamics, with 5 staterooms comprising of a main deck Master Suite, two VIPs, and two Twins with pullmans.
Each stateroom welcomes its occupants with a bright and fresh ambience, amplified by large windows which connect with the outdoor surroundings at all times. The main deck Master Suite offers a California king bed and spacious adjoining ensuite with an inviting spa bath.
Throughout the yacht, there are plenty of amenities that guests will become accustomed to during a charter. In particular, the sun deck provides the quintessential superyacht entertainment space, complete with a jacuzzi and plenty of lounge areas for sunbathing or enjoying sundowners from an unrivalled vantage point.
For those who want to embrace the adventure of a charter, PLEIADES II comes with an array of water toys to balance the luxury with more high-octane thrills. From her go-anywhere tender, to her jetski and underwater scooters, guests will never be far from adventure and exploration.
The cuisine onboard PLEIADES II is an experience in itself, where guests will savour bespoke menus from the comfort of the main lounge, beautiful al fresco aft deck dining area, or from a magical beach set up prepared by the crew.
Available for cruising in the Whitsundays from June to October 2023, it would be a hard task to imagine a region more suited to PLEIADES II’s charter capabilities. The superyacht will be based out of Coral Sea Marina, a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, where tailor-made charters will immediately immerse guests in one of the world’s most spectacular natural splendours.
From the iconic swirling white sands and turquoise waters of Whitehaven Beach, to picturesque snorkelling at Blue Pearl Bay, the 74 islands that make up the Whitsundays are brimming with adventure both above and below the water surface.
PLEIADES II is a welcome addition to the domestic Australian superyacht fleet, while she also reflects the growth of Yachtsmen International. The Gold-Coast based brokerage will have its largest display at next month’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), where PLEIADES II, alongside 78’ Lazzara Yachts LA MAR, will be available for viewings.
Unlike many brokerages attending SCIBS, Yachtsmen International will have both brokerage listings and charter offerings on display. Yachtsmen will be hosting guests from the brand-new C arm of Sanctuary Cove Marina’s recent A$3.5m development, doubling up the space that the company had at the last Show.
"Prior to her relocation to the Whitsundays, we are encouraging any interested parties to visit PLEIADES II within our Yachtsmen International display at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show," adds Deborah Rendle. "Potential charter guests will have a rare opportunity to step aboard and get a taste of just what this unique superyacht has to offer."
