Port Nimara and Airport Expansion Set to Redefine Caribbean Travel
Anguilla’s moment is now. In a bold move set to transform Anguilla into the ultimate luxury destination, the visionary Port Nimara project is joining forces with a major airport expansion. This synergy between air and sea travel will position Anguilla as a premier luxury destination, offering a seamless transition from private jets to superyachts.
The Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport's ambitious expansion, featuring a runway extension to 7,800 feet, will soon welcome private jets of all sizes and commercial aircraft from major U.S. hubs. A world-class VIP FBO terminal will ensure a smooth transition from air to sea for visitors.
Meanwhile, Port Nimara is poised to become the crown jewel of Caribbean marinas. With 118 berths accommodating superyachts up to 260 feet, a 62-key luxury hotel, and 36 premium villas, it's set to create a new benchmark for maritime luxury.
Anguilla’s transformation isn’t just about luxury, it’s also a celebration of culture, with events like the Anguilla Music Tourism Convention and Culinary Experience drawing global attention.
David Mizrahi, Managing Partner of Development and CEO of SF Investments explains, ‘we're not just building a marina; we're crafting an unparalleled arrival experience that begins the moment our guests board their flights.’
The dual development is expected to generate approximately 700 jobs, signaling a significant boost to the local economy. With completion dates set for 2025-2027, Anguilla is on the cusp of a luxury revolution that will redefine Caribbean travel for years to come.
