Royal Huisman Delivers SPECIAL ONE: The World’s Largest True Sportfish Yacht

Preparing to depart from Royal Huisman’s shipyard in the Netherlands and embark upon her maiden voyage, 52m SPECIAL ONE’s delivery marks a new and exciting milestone in superyacht building.

This bespoke, Alustar aluminium motor yacht represents the pinnacle of superyacht engineering and construction, blending luxury and comfort with state-of-the-art technologies and spectacular performance prospects. 

SPECIAL ONE features six decks, and is able to reach the impressive speeds of over 30 knots, proven during her extensive testing and sea trials on the North Sea. 

She is a highly unique vessel, boasting the title of the world’s largest true sportfish yacht, tailored to meet the very specific brief of her experienced Owner, who is passionate about the sport. 

Vripack Yacht Design Studio is responsible for her naval architecture, exterior and interior design. Her profile is highly distinctive, leaving her to be undeniably eye-catching on the water, with a long bow and high bulwarks leading to a low and uncluttered cockpit aft. 

Her high tower presents spectacular views for guests, alongside a great downward angle for the specialised sport. For those not partaking in the action, SPECIAL ONE’s tower also acts as a wonderful viewing platform, allowing all those onboard to get involved.
