Sanlorenzo Asia’s Transformation to Strengthen Presence in Australia and New Zealand

Australia as a superyacht hub has seen an increasing growth in recent years, offering yachting clientele unparalleled opportunities with an array of awe-inspiring cruising grounds, spectacular weather and a lifestyle rooted in a passion for the water. Sanlorenzo Asia, a division of Simpson Marine, has proudly announced its recent expansion, now becoming Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific, leveraging off this growing market in the Southern Hemisphere.

In response to the growing demand for the superyacht industry in the Asia-Pacific region, Sanlorenzo Asia has made the strategic move to transform into Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific. This expansion follows Simpson Marine’s regional expansion under the ownership of Sanlorenzo SpA, which took place earlier this year in March.

The market in Australia has been on an upward trajectory, with its roots in an unwavering passion for the sea, lifestyle preferences and economic prosperity. Yachting enthusiasts are consistently attracted to the unparalleled cruising grounds on offer in this stunning part of the world, such as The Great Barrier Reef, Whitsundays and Kimberly region.

This growing presence will allow the brand to elevate the yachting experience for clients across this market, the opening of a new sales office in Jones Bay Wharf, Sydney, bolstering this. 

Some beautiful vessels have arrived in Sydney following this expansion, including Australia’s first Bluegame BGX63 and the Sanlorenzo SD90. Both will officially premiere at the Sanlorenzo Australia office opening that will take place in autumn this year. 

The Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific team will attend the Sydney International Boat Show between the 1st and 4th of August to officially launch this exciting new market expansion. Beyond this, a major activation will take place in Autumn with Sanlorenzo and Bluegame Yachts, allowing clients to experience the exceptional nature of the brand first-hand.
