Sanlorenzo SX112 Sold in Asia by Simpson Marine

Sanlorenzo yachts, backed by the experience of Simpson Marine as regional distributor, have taken the Asian market by storm. The high quality of the Italian brand, along with the suitability of these vessels for cruising the phenomenal remote destinations within Asia, have ensured that Sanlorenzo is a revered brand among Asian owners.

The Sanlorenzo SX112 was unveiled during the Genoa Boat Show 2020, and the flagship yacht is the consolidation of a path that began with the SX88, followed by the SX76. This exquisite superyacht seeks to redefine the yachting experience, removing barriers on board to open up to the outdoor environment and establish a close connection with the sea.

The 34m SX112 is a synthesis between the classic flybridge motoryacht and the Explorer superyacht. Bernardo Zuccon of Studio Zuccon International Project, a long-term partner of Sanlorenzo, is responsible for the exterior design of the iconic SX range. Zuccon has perfectly encapsulated the brief given to the design team, which aimed to add a “family feeling” to the range. A one-of-a-kind oversized stern area features a spacious internal beach area that directly connects to the outside with retractable side terraces which bring guests closer to the sea.

The interiors have been very much driven by the owner’s own vision, with an open plan concept enhanced by an ultra-luxurious beach club and dedicated spaces for all the family to enjoy. The focus on the beach club further reinforces the yacht’s extensive outdoor areas and its seamless interconnectivity with the free-flowing open plan arrangement of a main deck stretching almost the entire length of the yacht. This unorthodox deck configuration has been made possible by the use of a compact aft-mounted innovative Volvo Penta IPS system with four IPS1350 pods, a development made in close collaboration with Volvo Penta granting the yacht with maximum speeds of 20+ knots.

SX112 boasts four opulent staterooms to accommodate guests, a main deck dining room in the bow and a large saloon which opens out to the impressive aft deck.

The hull and superstructure will be finished in the iconic SC range silver metallic colour, complementing the streamlined exterior profile to ensure she will be a head-turner in any marina.
