Between the 25th and 28th of April 2024, Asia’s leading yacht sales and brokerage company Simpson Marine is heading to the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF), showcasing six impressive yachts. Coinciding with the celebration of four decades of business, Simpson Marine’s involvement in the show is geared up to be more exciting than ever, offering guests an unparalleled experience of the world of luxury yachting whilst displaying some of its most impressive vessels.

Since its inception in 2011, Simpson Marine has attended every single edition of the Singapore Yachting Festival, as it serves as a spectacular platform for the brokerage to showcase its range of yachts and services. Following the recent news of its acquisition by Sanlorenzo, Simpson Marine is presenting an impressive fleet at the show, including the latest models from some of the world’s most prestigious yacht builders, including Sanlorenzo, Bluegame and Fairline.

Richard Allen, Chief Operating Officer of Simpson Marine, commented: ‘We are excited about our return to the Singapore Yachting Festival. In light of our recent acquisition by Sanlorenzo, our fleet will be more curated, highlighting larger vessels that encapsulate the elegance and performance intrinsic to our longstanding yachting heritage in Asia. We are delighted to present some of the most exceptional yachts in our fleet including the Sanlorenzo SL96 Asymmetric, Sanlorenzo SX88, Bluegame BGX73, Bluegame BG42, and Asia's first Fairline Squadron 58.’

Alongside the yachts listed by Richard Allen, the Sanlorenzo SD118 will also be presented at the show, making its premiere in Asia. She is a 35.75m tri deck yacht that offers superior autonomy at sea: a perfect balance between classic, traditional lines and modernity. She features a novel configuration with two levels connecting the bow living area, the upper deck and the forward deck, in turn forming a large area for outdoor relaxation that the Owner has direct access to from their cabin. Exuding elegance with a wide hull, this model represents Sanlorenzo’s unwavering dedication to innovation, expanding the Italian yard’s line of semi-displacement models.

In a similar manner to the SD118, the Sanlorenzo SL96A features an innovative design and cutting-edge elements, standing as a testament to how the Italian brand works to redefine the world of luxury yachting. This model rethinks the canonical layout of a yacht, providing excellent circulation onboard, making the SL96A the only yacht of her size to offer a seamless flow from aft to bow to flybridge.

The final Sanlorenzo yacht being presented by Simpson Marine is the Sanlorenzo SX88: a vessel which combines the classic elegance of the shipyard’s flybridge models with the versatility of the Explorer series. She excels both aesthetically and functionally, considered a highly sociable yacht that offers a new way to experience the sea. The flybridge is the standout feature of the SX88, with a helm station catering to all weather conditions and an al fresco lounge that offers panoramic views.

Simpson Marine is proudly presenting the flagship model in Bluegame’s BGX range: the BGX73. She is characterised by her owner-centric, customisable and sustainable nature, with an expansive beach club being a show-stopping feature of her design. This outdoor area is the ideal space to relax or socialise, even able to accommodate a 13ft RIB tender, as a  radical design made possible by her engines placed under the large platform.

Bluegame’s BG42 is also being showcased: a versatile yacht that is compact yet powerful, fusing style with functionality. She is the ideal vessel for adventurers who enjoy the thrill of the open sea, combining the features of a walkaround, an open, a day-cruiser and a chase-boat. The BG42 is considered the perfect introduction to the Bluegame brand, built with impressive seaworthiness and environmental credentials.

The final boat to make up Simpson Marine’s fleet at SYF is Asia’s first Fairline Squadron 58: a masterpiece of elegance and performance, that just took home the ‘Flybridges up to 60ft’ Award at this year’s Motor Boat Awards at boot Dusseldorf. She boasts a full-length flybridge and foredeck terraces alongside a versatile aft cockpit and a superyacht-style beach club: the most cutting-edge of day boating solutions.

It is not just Simpson Marine’s eye-catching fleet that will make this year’s SYF a grand event: during the show, the brokerage is also celebrating its 40th anniversary. Simpson Marine is set to welcome guests and yacht owners to their Southeast Asia office with a special surprise to honour this monumental occasion. Guests will also be treated to a series of lifestyle experiences by premier brands that are partnering with Simpson Marine: showcasing the very best of luxury yachting in Asia.

Allen concluded: ‘Furthermore, we are happy to announce that our comprehensive range of yachting services, including Simpson Superyachts, Yacht Brokerage, Yacht charter, and Yacht Management and Langkawi Yacht Registry representatives, will be on-site to provide advice and support to visitors. Whether you are dreaming of a superyacht experience, planning a charter, or seeking professional management for your vessel, our team is poised to cater to all your yachting needs.’

Simpson Marine’s significant involvement in the Singapore Yachting Festival not only provides the brokerage with a platform to showcase its exceptional range of yachts and services, but also highlights its dedication and commitment to the yachting market in Asia, setting it apart as a leading yacht dealer in the region.
