Sunseeker International Unveils Three Exciting Updates
Sunseeker International attended the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) with three exciting company updates. Now under new ownership, the iconic British brand is set to enhance its industry offerings even further, demonstrated by the unveiling of a brand new yacht and the US debut of the Predator 55.
Sunseeker International has embarked on a dynamic new chapter, marked by three significant developments that were unveiled at FLIBS.
The first update to be revealed was its acquisition by Orienta Capital Partners and Lionheart Capital. This change in ownership from Wanda marks a new era for the shipyard, with the intention to enhance the iconic brand’s presence and strengthen its British heritage.
Giancarlo Galeone, Chairman of FARO and the new Chairman of Sunseeker, commented: ‘We are thrilled to start this new journey alongside Sunseeker. Our strong expertise in the yachting industry combined with our long-lasting relationship with its CEO will allow us to further enhance the British identity and craftsmanship, driving the brand towards ambitious goals.’
CEO Andrea Frabetti and the management team will remain on board, continuing operations from Poole in the United Kingdom.
The shipyard also unveiled the new Sunseeker 94 yacht: a model tailored for serene and luxury cruising. She features a range of cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art amenities, from an advanced Sonos sound system to a hydraulically enhanced tender garage.
Able to reach an impressive top speed of 26 knots, the 94 Yacht blends optimised performance with enhanced relaxation, boasting customisable, high-end interiors that have been designed in partnership with Design Unlimited.
A standout feature of her design is Sunseeker’s industry-leading X-TEND™ sunbed system, allowing for the lower aft deck to transform into a lavish sunbathing area. Owners will benefit from a range of optional upgrades, meaning that the 94 Yacht can be suited to a diverse range of preferences and desires.
The last of Sunseeker’s exceptional industry offerings at FLIBS was the U.S debut of Predator 55: a model that adds a new chapter in the long story of the Predator range. Designed for both comfort and style, this pocket-size vessel is defined by its retractable and dynamic sunroof and streamlined profile, offering Owners a uniquely sporty experience with top speeds of 36 knots.
Sean Robertson, President of Sunseeker USA, added: ‘A model that embodies all the strength of the Sunseeker DNA and British sailing experience: with the launch of the Predator 55, Sunseeker sets a new standard in the US market, working alongside an exceptional network of distributors, capable of always delivering seamless customer service.’
With its strategic new acquisition, exciting US debut and stunning new 94 Yacht design, Sunseeker International is poised for a bright future, drawing upon its iconic heritage to evolve its global presence to unprecedented levels.
