Sunseeker to Unveil Three New Motor Yachts at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale Int. Boat Show
UK-based shipyard Sunseeker has announced that it will be debuting three brand-new motor yachts at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The 27.1m Ocean 182, which will make its global debut at the Newport International Boat Show in September, will continue its USA tour to Fort Lauderdale, whilst the 29.85m 100 Yacht is also set to be debuted; presented to the USA market for the first time. The 23.06m Predator 75 will also be on display for her global launch, alongside several other Sunseeker models.
‘Visitors to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will have the chance to view the exceptional motor yachts in the Sunseeker range,’ commented Sean Robertson, Sunseeker USA Sales Co. Inc. President. ‘We are thrilled to present the latest product from our shipyards in Poole, UK. Sharing the spotlight, the Ocean 182, the Predator 75, and the award-winning 100 Yacht will all be available for exclusive viewings. We look forward to welcoming clients and celebrating the arrival of three spectacular yachts into the market for the first time.’
27.1m Ocean 182
According to Sunseeker, its 27.1m Ocean 182 perfectly ‘epitomises the floating penthouse concept’. Designed to harmoniously connect guests to its surrounding marine environment, the 27m motor yacht is adorned with unique features and filled with fluid, spacious living areas inside and out.
When setting foot onboard, guests are greeted by sweeping floor-to-ceiling sliding doors on one side, perfectly balanced by matching windows on the other and a unique and minimalist spiral staircase which creates unobstructed views inside. The upper deck can be enclosed for indoor comfort or opened to create an al-fresco balcony: a true hallmark of user flexibility and yet another nod to the yard’s efforts to blend the outdoor and indoor spaces seamlessly.
In an unprecedented move for Sunseeker yachts, the sole helm console now finds its place on Ocean 182 on the upper deck: a first for the UK-based yard. Adjacent to this lies an L-shaped bar for both crew service and owner use, and to further enhance the upper deck, an extended saloon offers U-shaped seating, a fixed TV unit, and panoramic glazing for stunning panoramic views.
The Ocean 182 also features a Beach Club with a hydraulic lifting platform, retractable passerelle, shower, speakers, barbeque grill, and Sunseeker's X-TEND convertible seating: perfectly blending ‘sophistication and practicality’. Ocean 182 has a beam of 7.16m, and a draft of 1.95m. She has a maximum speed of 27 knots, and can comfortably accommodate 10 guests onboard across five cabins.
29.85m 100 Yacht
Boasting sleek design and unparalleled features, the 29.85m 100 Yacht is described by the yard as a ‘true showstopper’.
Inside, notable features include the impressive full-beam main deck owner's stateroom which is complete with a private bow terrace, sunbathing hideaways, luxurious ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. The penthouse-style saloon on the main deck is also something remarkable; fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows which erase the boundary between indoors and outdoors.
In yet another Sunseeker first, the groundbreaking flybridge seamlessly connects to the foredeck, allowing uninterrupted walk-around access before opening to present comfortable seating, a wet bar, and independent space for owners and crew.
Social zones are in abundance onboard with several diverse seating options on the exterior decks. The Beach Club offers a water-level oasis, and the expansive tender garage accommodates various water toys for ongoing enjoyment on the water. An award-winning Sunseeker X-TEND sunbed also transforms aft for ultimate relaxation.
The 100 Yacht can accommodate 10 in five suites. She has a beam of 6.9m and a draft of 2.1m, with an impressive maximum speed of 30 knots.
23.06m Predator 75
Sunseeker is undoubtedly renowned for its exceptional, high-speed yachts. Its latest addition to its iconic Predator lineup is the stunning 23.06m/75-foot Predator 75. Like its predecessors, this 23m vessel showcases an eye-catching exterior design that integrates tinted glazing, carbon fibre, and polished stainless steel. This time, the signature low-profile is matched by an industry-defining sliding sunroof and a unique cockpit door that connects the cockpit to the saloon with ease.
Within the aft cockpit, guests will find comfortable U-shaped seating, an electrically adjustable carbon fibre table, and a sun pad over the garage. At the stern, dual steps ascend from the bathing platform, and there is easy access to side decks as well as a spacious garage. Situated forward is another sun pad and inviting seating for relaxing in the sun.
Inside, the interior boasts contemporary furniture crafted from wood, carbon fibre, and stainless steel, all carefully illuminated by mood lighting. The main deck features wraparound seating, a large TV unit, and a helm station with companion seating flooded with natural light from the oversized glazed sunroof that is situated above the helm.
The Predator 75 can accommodate six guests in three cabins, with an option for a fourth cabin offering accommodation for eight. She has a maximum speed of 40 knots, a beam of 5.38m and a draft of 1.87m.
The President of OneWater Yacht Group, Bryan Braley, shared: ‘We could not be more excited to present the Sunseeker line-up at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. By far, it is the most impressive display of yachts that we have ever presented at this show and we look forward to the North American debut of three new models.’
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will be taking place from the 25th to the 29th of October 2023. You won’t want to miss it.
