Superyachts Set to Debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024
As the most anticipated event of the yachting calendar year, many superyachts at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) are not just in attendance, but are making their global premiere. A stunning selection of superyachts are set to make their debut at this year’s show, from a 122-metre masterpiece, to a vessel equipped with innovative AI technology, offering a glimpse into the next generation of yacht design.
Lürssen’s KISMET is not just making her world debut at the MYS, but is attending as the largest vessel on display, at a staggering 122-metres. She is one of the German yard’s newest deliveries, and will undoubtedly be the highlight for attendees.
Setting a new benchmark for excellence in the yachting industry, KISMET is equipped with a cutting-edge hybrid power train combined with a full-electric mode, making her one of the most powerful yachts on the planet. Underscoring the shipyard’s commitment to sustainability, she also features a heat recovery system in the generators for pool water heating, and dynamic positioning to allow for electronic anchoring in remote areas.
Peter Lürssen, Managing Partner of Lürssen, commented: ‘Following in the footsteps of an iconic previous yacht is always a challenge, but with our technical expertise and the outstanding design from Nuvolari Lennard for the exterior and Reymond Langton for the interior, the yacht has exceeded all expectations of the client for whom we have built his third yacht in total.’
She is currently available for charter with Cecil Wright, who is jointly exhibiting KISMET with Lürssen.
ETERNAL SPARK - 50m - Bilgin Yachts
Developed with the charter market in mind, Bilgin Yachts’ ETERNAL SPARK is the first from the shipyard’s 50-metre series. Her design is characterised by expansive and sheltered open decks, offering a spectacular layout with a generous amount of space.
She can accommodate up to 12 guests across six cabins, with six outdoor areas and three indoor socialising spaces.
ETERNAL SPARK has been penned with a highly modern design, built with over 200 materials and equipped with various innovative features. Highlights include a jacuzzi pool on the sun deck, an indoor and outdoor cinema, and a transformer swimming platform that offers easy access to the water.
She will be making her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, exhibited by Bilgin Yachts.
Serenissima 1 - 47m - Mengi Yay
Launched in August, Mengi Yay’s first 47m Serenissima 1 yacht will be premiered in Monaco. She beautifully blends unique Turkish craftsmanship, stunning Italian design and unparalleled Dutch engineering, as she is the result of a collaboration between Mengi Yay, Nuvolari Lenard and Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
Her spacious deck and generous interior spaces mean that she promises the luxury and quality of a 60 metre superyacht in a smaller package. She features a plethora of unique features onboard, including a cosy fire-pit on her sundeck, a professional boxing ring on the foredeck, and a lavish gentlemen's lounge. Catering to all those onboard, this area is fitted with a cinema room, walk-in wine cellar and drop-down balcony, perfect for an array of preferences.
She will be presented at the MYS by Mengi Yay and Northrop & Johnson, who she is currently listed for sale with.
SAN - 45m - Alia Yachts
A second all-aluminium vessel set to debut, Alia Yachts’ 45m SAN will also be making her debut at the MYS. She is a sleek, attractive and innovative design that offers an unmatched connection to the sea, with a highlight being her fully open main deck extending from bow to stern, framed by glass windows and sliding doors.
SAN is the ideal yacht for socialising, boasting multi-functional exterior deck furniture that can transform the outdoor spaces from sunbathing havens to a sophisticated dining and cocktail setting seamlessly.
SAN’s four guest cabins and Owner’s stateroom boast a minimalist, yet richly detailed, design, reflecting her Owner’s preferences. Her accommodation is the perfect example of how SAN blends comfort and style, ensuring an unforgettable experience on board.
She will be exhibited at the show by Alia Yachts.
Designed in collaboration with Fulvio de Simoni Yacht Design for her exteriors and Meyer Davis Studio for her interiors, SEAWOLF X represents Rossinavi’s flagship vessel of the new generation of yachts. She is the first in the shipyard’s fleet to be labelled BluE: a hybrid electric vessel equipped with AI that maximises the yacht’s green potential.
She features three performance scenarios, including the ability to cruise in full electric mode for a one-day trip, with the capacity to cruise the Atlantic in electric mode for 80 percent of the time. She can be charged exceptionally quickly, and enters a hibernation mode when moored, reducing consumption to the minimum.
SEAWOLF X is a stunning example of how luxury travel can be raised to a new standard with regards to sustainability. She is currently available for charter with Cecil Wright, and will be presented at the Monaco Yacht Show by Rossinavi.
