Superyachts.com's Top Interiors of 2020
Every year we see the industry’s greatest minds in design striving to innovate further and further; making more use of interior volume, creating greater connectivity to the sea, and flexing their ability to impress with design. As the year draws to a close, we bring you our favourite interiors of the past year...
Benetti - Lana
Benetti’s 107m Lana wowed commentators when she was delivered to her new Owner earlier this year. Available for charter with Imperial, interior images released earlier this year gave a tantalising tease of a lavish life onboard Lana. Characterised by large open spaces and all of the ultra-luxurious amenities deserving of a gigayacht, Benetti’s interior team established their in-house excellence with this meticulously appointed design. Statement art pieces and rich golden hues add a decadent feel, while Lana’s cosy cinema room and massage parlour ensure guests will truly feel at home at sea while enjoying their time onboard.
Bilgin Yachts x H2 Yacht Design - Tatiana
Bilgin’s largest yacht to date Tatiana also caused quite a splash as she was launched and delivered earlier this year, propelling Turkey to new heights in the global superyacht building landscape. British designer Jonny Horsfield, whose esteemed studio was appointed for the yacht’s interiors, said, ‘We tried to bring a crisp and contemporary feel by using a rich palette of colours.’ The designer successfully created a sophisticated interior, which uses purple and blue hues contrasted with dark mahoganies and white marble, to complement her sleek exterior look. Statement features include Tatiana’s vast beach club, which comprises a sizeable swimming pool and a penthouse-style feel, plush cinema room and sophisticated sky lounge.
Nordhavn x Vripack - Nordhavn 80
Kicking off the year in style, American boat builder Nordhavn revealed an interior collaboration with holistic design studio Vripack on the third hull of the Nordhavn 80 that proved so ingenious in its livability, style and contrast with exterior that we simply couldn’t not mention it. With beachy tones, ‘Wimbledon white’ walls and an open plan layout, the Nordhavn 80 #3 has a distinctly comfortable and homely feel. Famous for its rugged exteriors and all-American appeal, Nordhavn consolidated its versatility with this tranquil and inviting interior theme.
