'The Adventure Experience': Episode Two of This is Monaco Season Two Launches
In collaboration with the Monaco Yacht Show, episode two of the brand-new season of ‘This is Monaco’ has officially launched and is now streaming on Superyachts.com. In episode two, ‘The Adventure Experience’, discover the superyacht industry’s diverse and innovative world of toys, tenders and vehicles: each one perfectly poised as the ultimate accessory to complement the adventurous superyacht lifestyle.
There is no doubt that owning or chartering a superyacht is the beginning of a journey to adventure. However, with a new, younger generation of owners and charterers, as well as superyacht lengths and sizes growing year-on-year, desires for more accessible adventure have become more prominent than ever before.
In episode two of This is Monaco Season Two, ‘The Adventure Experience’, we uncover the superyacht toys, tenders and vehicles industry, hearing from those at its heart as they uncover the recent trends and latest products on the market.
‘With the pandemic, people started seeking escapism and adventure a lot more,’ commented Ally Ford, the Executive Head of Marketing from Superyacht Tenders & Toys. ‘There’s been a huge generation shift in the superyacht world and charter guests and owners are getting younger and they’re seeking more adventure.’
With superyacht designs and new builds evolving significantly each year, there is no surprise that the world of toys, tenders and motor vehicles has harmoniously evolved alongside it. As an integral part of the superyacht experience, these engaging watersports toys and tenders are becoming more equipped to handle adventure than ever before: now the ultimate addition for thrill-seeking enthusiasts and those seeking more than just a luxury yacht escape.
‘I see a yacht as a means to an end, and the end is actually an experience like Fliteboard where you're out there on the water in places that you can't otherwise access. A beach house is really about the beach, not the house. A yacht is about being on the water and all the things you can do on the water,' shares David Trewern, Founder & CEO, of Fliteboard.
So, where can owners go to find the latest toys? Last year, the Monaco Yacht Show launched a brand new Adventure Area, dedicated to providing a spectacular showcase of the latest toys, tenders and motor vehicles available on the market.
‘The great thing about having a multiproduct brand is that it's the same with Monaco,' explains Adam Fiander, PR Representative for Brabus Marine. 'It's perfect because customers can look at all of the products effectively under one roof.’
The Monaco Yacht Show will be taking place from the 27th to the 30th of September. Visit the Adventure Area to discover an impressive range of superyacht toys, tenders and motor vehicles: the perfect addition to your superyacht experience.
