The Second Mangusta Oceano 39 Hits the Water

By Frances Flannagan

Mangusta has announced that the second unit of the new Oceano 39 series has been launched. Characterised by the idea of a ‘seamless lifestyle’, this yacht features amenities which epitomise the notion of a relaxed way of living, including an infinity pool and a beach house with side terraces.

The Mangusta Oceano 39 series is the entry level in the Mangusta Oceano displacement line, of which the second unit has now successfully hit the water following the launch of the first hull] in June 2023. This 39m motor yacht is built in composite material with a three-deck layout, featuring design from Mangusta’s technical department and designer Alberto Mancini, with Verme design firm overseeing her naval engineering.

She represents a ‘seamless lifestyle’, seen in the ways that her form, content and generous volumes are blended together in an innovative and distinct way. The all-glass gunwales on the upper deck contribute to this idea of flow throughout her design, enhanced by large floor-to-ceiling windows on the main and upper decks that forge a continuity between the interiors and exteriors.

Branded as a ‘villa on the sea’, the Mangusta Oceano 39 features every single one of the elements that have secured the series’ success. While each element is unique, they are defined by the shipyard as ‘Standard Mangusta Design Features’.

Some standout aspects of her design are the infinity pool which can be found at the bow and the beach house, where side terraces at sea level open up at the push of a button to convert the aft platform into a stunning relaxation area.

The second Mangusta Oceano 39’s interiors and layout are fully bespoke, with the shipyard’s design team ensuring that every onboard feature perfectly reflects the Owner’s design vision.

She is fitted with two long-range engines, allowing her to reach a maximum speed of 15 knots, with a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 2250 nm.

The next unit available for sale is scheduled to be delivered in Spring 2026.
