The Seventh Mangusta 104REV Hits the Water

By Frances Flannagan

Mangusta Yachts has proudly announced the successful launch of the Mangusta 104REV: the entry level of the Mangusta Maxi Open line. She boasts exceptional performance and functionality, with a top speed of 35 knots and a limited draft meaning she can access even the shallowest of waters.

Just three months after the sixth unit of the Mangusta 104REV hit the water, Mangusta has announced that the seventh hull has been launched. The model is sporty and slender, retaining the Italian yard’s DNA whilst revisioning it in a modern fashion.

She is the product of joint work between the shipyard’s Engineering Department and design firm Lobanov Design, built in composite material at Mangusta’s Viareggio site. She features two Kamewa water jets coupled with two MTU 2600 hp engines, allowing her to reach the impressive speed of 35 knots in the utmost comfort.

The Mangusta 104REV is able to move from one marina to the next both rapidly and with ease, making her the perfect vessel for both the Mediterranean and US markets. Her limited draft also means that she can cruise freely in shallow waters, like those of the Hamptons or The Bahamas.

‘This unit is the fifth built for the American market, bearing witness to the great success of this model,’ commented Stefano Arlunno, President of Mangusta Americas.

The next unit of the Mangusta 104REV is set to be delivered in Spring 2025.
