The Sixth Hull of Horizon Yachts’ FD110 Series Launched

By Frances Flannagan

Horizon Yachts has proudly announced the launch of the sixth yacht of its FD110 series: a line that is characterised by the optimisation of space as well as spectacular seafaring capabilities. Her spacious interior is characterised by a sophisticated and luxurious feel, with a simple colour palette balanced by subtle yet rich detailings.

Horizon Yachts’ FD110 series caters specifically to the American market, distinguished by a spectacular hull platform developed by Cor D. Rover. The 33.99m FD110 can accommodate an exceptionally spacious interior, whilst boasting unrivalled stability and unmatched style.

Roger Sowerbutts, Director at Horizon Yacht USA, commented: ‘Customised to suit the Horizon owners’ cruising lifestyle, she elevates superyacht amenities to new heights and is verified to meet Hull & Stability standards of Bureau Veritas Classification.’

The series is available in either a skyline or a tri-deck version, the sixth hull being the latter, offering five staterooms that include a full-beam master suite on the main deck. On the bridge deck is a lightweight open flybridge, equipped with a helm and seating area, alongside a forward wheelhouse, interior skylounge, bar and a jacuzzi.

The alternative skyline option features a large wheelhouse with an enclosed skylounge aft alongside ample deck space for entertaining.

The sixth hull features a stunning interior design that exudes sophistication and elegance, with dark wood panels beautifully contrasting the light colour palette of cream, ivory and beige. Meticulously crafted details enhance the luxurious nature of her design, for instance the subtle swirling pattern found on the wooden bed frame in the master stateroom, mirrored in the headboard.

Her draft of just 1.83 metres makes the FD100 the perfect vessel to cruise shallow waters, perfect for the U.S market and particularly Florida where Horizon Yachts is based. Its close proximity to The Bahamas makes this destination a favourite amongst superyacht Owners based on the East coast, a shallow draft greatly enhancing cruising prospects in this stunning area of the world.
