The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 2024 (SCIBS) is returning between May 23rd and May 26th for its 35th edition, set to be the most spectacular show yet. Whether you choose to indulge in the brand-new VIP experience at the Lagoon Beach Club, or marvel at one of the new product launches, this is guaranteed to be one of the most unforgettable events of the yachting calendar year.

The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is not only the Southern Hemisphere’s largest boating and marine lifestyle event, but a key show within the yachting calendar year. SCIBS’ 35th edition is set to be bigger and better than ever before, with over 330 exhibitors, more than 700 boats, 2,500+ products and 50,000+ attendees.

‘There’s no doubt SCIBS is an unrivalled showcase for those in the marine industry, with an economic impact of $400M+ with manufacturers and distributors from around the world keen to secure space,’  commented Johan Hasser, General Manager of Mulpha Events. ‘From superyachts and luxury motor yachts, to trailer boats and personal watercrafts (PWC), to marine gear and gadgets, SCIBS 2024 is the place to see everything the marine industry has to offer.’

This year welcomes a number of exciting additions to the show, first and foremost the expansion of its footprint. SCIBS now includes the grounds of the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, including the new Marina Boulevard Hall that overlooks the superyacht arm of the marina.

A new luxury VIP experience is another sensational new feature, hosted at the Lagoon Beach Club and offering attendees an elevated experience of the show. With an all-day menu, pop-up bars, a series of tasting experiences and live entertainment, VIP guests can indulge in the epitome of luxury within a beach club setting.

Other must-see areas of the show include the Main Stage entertainment, which will host fishing and cooking masterclasses across the four days, alongside kids stage shows to keep the whole family entertained.

Connecting attendees to the marine lifestyle, Berkley Supertank is returning to offer spectators a fish-eye view without getting wet, as well as fishing expert Brett Thomson to demonstrate spectacular fishing techniques. There will also be a dedicated Sea Trial Zone on the marina presented by Dometic, perfect for visitors wishing to test the waters.

A plethora of marine businesses are set to attend, with the 2024 edition geared up to see almost 100 brand new launches. SCIBS will notably see an Australian first this year: an innovative eLite electric outboard motor, representing a more eco-friendly approach to marine propulsion.

A range of prestigious luxury car brands will be on display, including Bentley, Maserati and McLaren, plus the aviation company Jet Aviation. The addition of these luxury automotives showcases how SCIBS is not only a spectacular display of the superyacht industry, but the luxury lifestyle in its entirety.

The superstars of the show are of course the superyachts, with some of the world’s most sought after vessels heading to the Gold Coast to make their debut. The Yacht Sales Co. is showcasing an impressive line up at this year’s SCIBS, presenting the Cora Cat 48 Power Catamaran for the first time ever. Horizon Yachts is debuting its FD80, alongside a yet-to-be-announced, exceptional new yacht from Riviera.

From some of the most exciting marine innovations to a lavish VIP haven, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show represents the very best of the superyacht industry; it is an unmissable event where attendees can fully immerse themselves in every aspect of both the yachting and luxury lifestyles.

"From superyachts and luxury motor yachts, to trailer boats and personal watercrafts (PWC), to marine gear and gadgets, SCIBS 2024 is the place to see everything the marine industry has to offer."
