World's Largest Superyacht Enters Final Phase of Construction
The highly anticipated REV Ocean, set to become the world's largest superyacht at an impressive 194.9 metres, has entered its final phase of construction. On 5 March, the vessel departed from Vard Søviknes shipyard in Norway and arrived at Damen Shiprepair Vlissingen (DSV) in the Netherlands for the last stage of exterior and interior outfitting.

During its construction, REV Ocean underwent some seminal enhancements, including a 12-metre extension. This additional space has been utilised to incorporate advanced features such as a submarine hangar, a CTD-hangar, container storage, a media studio, and a 3D printing and robotics laboratory.
While primarily focused on ocean conservation and research, REV Ocean will also offer exclusive charter opportunities.
The vessel will accommodate up to 28 scientists and a crew of 50 when operating in research mode. Charter guests will have the unique opportunity to participate in scientific projects, contributing to marine conservation efforts while enjoying the yacht's luxurious amenities.
Following its completion, her maiden voyage is expected to include a trip to the Arctic via the Norwegian coast, followed by an expedition to the Southern Ocean via the United States and South America.
